As biologists, the founders of Pollinature have spent years dealing with mason bees and their importance to pollination. Now, they’ve used their expert knowledge to develop a system to enable farmers to make use of mason bees in a long-term, professional and cost-effective way. And to establish this new service on the market, we worked together with them to develope their new brand, Pollinature.
The name and the visual identity of the newly-launched brand is as close to nature as the service being offered. The logo presents a bee fusing with a blossom, a minimalist graphic inspired by anatomical drawings and, with its symmetry and clear lines, characteristic of the design driving the brand. A warm, pastel colour scheme and sun-drenched photography offer contrast to a design inspired by scientific illustration. An aesthetic is achieved that not only provides a visual expression of Pollinature’s scientific expertize, but also of the nature-given creative power of bees.
