Serviceplan Suisse has created a new campaign for Swisscom, Switzerland’s number-one telecommunications company. It presents Swisscom’s wide-ranging sustainability programme. True to its “Now instead of some day” slogan, the campaign offers no empty promises for the future. It focuses instead on practical solutions that are already available to customers.
Whether phone, Internet or TV, all Swisscom subscriptions are climate-neutral. A number of independent studies have rated Swisscom the world’s most sustainable telecommunications provider, recognising its years of action to reduce its carbon footprint and protect the environment. In the fight against climate change, Swisscom is not content to wait and see. In fact, it has been offering sustainable products and solutions for some time now. Empty promises have no place in Swisscom’s new sustainability campaign, either. There is none of the typical greenwashing here. The principal characters are a skater, a bike courier and a parkour runner, representing all who champion a stronger commitment to the environment. “Now instead of some day” encapsulates the campaign’s core message: sustainability cannot be put off into the future. We must act now before it is too late.
Created and launched by the House of Communication in Zurich in close cooperation with Swisscom, the sustainability campaign began on 14 March 2022. It consists of a TV spot, social media and digital ads and digital out-of-home advertising. The TV ad was produced by Shining and directed by Marco Lutz. Short channel-specific videos have been specially made for social media.
